What you need in an emergency kit for your family?

No family will ever have to worry about an emergency situation, but if something had happened to be prepared? There are many terms that you should have on hand in an emergency kit and a checklist to prepare your family.


Do you have an emergency plan with all the information about you and your family so that someone can help, if you are injured. It should include the names of all members of your family, they are on drugs, dates of birth, allergies or otherimportant health information. Check received, contacts with addresses and telephone numbers of emergency list. Enter your location to an emergency meeting, trusted adult, and physician and insurance information.
Personal identification number for each family member as a driver's license, passport or school ID card

Copies of medical records, including allergies, prescriptions and proof of insurance
First Aid Kit
1-3 liters of water per person
3-5 days deliverynon-perishable foods, be sure to include a can opener for cans
Flashlight and extra batteries

Pets, if you like animals
Spare keys to your house and car
Comfort items for children such as teddy bears, blankets or small toys. There is also a good idea, crayons and coloring books to keep busy
Change of clothes for each family member, including means of comfortable shoes and rain

Sunscreen, insect repellant and sun umbrella for shade

All these elements will be useful for you and your family if you are ever faced with an emergency. Take the time to help your children understand, what is an emergency and how to stay together and calm. Have fun teaching your children their name, address and phone number so that they will remember the information if I'm not with you and share with trusted adults.
